MAGIT is a gas injection technology for the production of integrated hollow structures in aluminium, magnesium and zinc die casting.

With this technology, the still liquid melt in the core of the component is displaced into an opening secondary cavity during the cooling phase in the mould with the aid of gas injection, whereby reproducible and defined cavities are created in the cast parts during the casting process without upstream and downstream processes.
