The jury:
"As head of the Chair of Foundry Technology at the University of Kassel, with a vocational qualification as a foundry mechanic, a doctorate from RWTH Aachen University, and extensive professional experience, most recently in aluminum/magnesium die casting and casting development at Volkswagen, I now work with young students and early-career researchers on a daily basis. One of my most enjoyable tasks is to identify, discuss, and implement completely new research topics in the field of foundry technology with them, i.e., to accompany, encourage, and support them on these innovative paths. That is why I greatly appreciate EUROGUSS's fantastic opportunity for young scientists to present their theses, which they have written with great diligence and commitment, to a broad international audience from industry, research, and development as part of the “Talent Awards.” It is therefore a matter of course and a great honor for me to be part of the jury that selects the best theses."

"As CEO and founder of CastCoil GmbH, my team and I develop resource-efficient electric motors that set new standards in efficiency and sustainability. After more than twenty years in foundry technology and research, I know how important it is to boldly break new ground—especially in times of change. For me, the EUROGUSS Talent Award is a significant source of inspiration: it promotes young talent who are advancing our industry with fresh ideas and interdisciplinary thinking. I am delighted to be part of the jury and to play an active role in shaping this exchange."
"As project manager for foundry technology and lightweight construction at Fraunhofer IFAM, I deal with innovative approaches to die casting, material simulation, and digitalization. The connection between research and practice is central to me—especially when it comes to bringing new ideas to the industry. The EUROGUSS Talent Award offers young talents a stage to showcase their ideas and actively shape the future of casting. I am delighted to be able to accompany this process as a member of the jury."

“As Head of Technology & Innovation at BDG and founder of the Foundry-Skills.com learning platform, promoting young talent is particularly close to my heart. The EUROGUSS Talent Award offers a valuable platform for showcasing innovations and actively getting to know the future talents of the foundry industry. I am delighted to be involved in this process as a member of the jury.”
"As a Professor of Metallurgy at the University of Brescia, my research and teaching have been and continue to be focused on foundry science, in close collaboration with industry. I believe that the EUROGUSS Talent Award provides an excellent opportunity for young talents, whether researchers or early-career professionals, to present their bachelor’s or master’s theses in die casting, highlighting innovation in materials and processes, sustainability, and potential improvements across the value chain. I am proud to contribute as a member of this jury and to support the exchange of ideas among the future specialists who will lead the next generation of foundry experts and contribute to advancing the field of foundry."
