Press releases about EUROGUSS
From 16 to 18 January 2018, the European die castings sector will meet once again in Nuremberg at the EUROGUSS trade fair. The exhibitors’ applications are ongoing, the trade fair preparations in full swing. We spoke to Christopher Boss (31), the new Director Exhibitions, about the development of EUROGUSS and the international involvement of the NürnbergMesse Group in the die casting sector. Boss has a degree in business science, has been in the trade fair and exhibition branch for around 10 years and has worked for NürnbergMesse for around one year.
EUROGUSS, International Trade Fair for Die Casting, was held from 12 to 14 January 2016 at the exhibition centre Nuremberg. We made our way through the exhibition halls and asked several exhibitors and visitors how successful the fair had been for them. Here are their replies:
On 14 January 2016, in Nuremberg, the largest EUROGUSS there has ever been closed its doors with a new visitor record. The trade fair for die-casting attracted 12,032 trade visitors* (2014: 11,187 visitors) from home and abroad, who came to inform themselves about technology, processes and products on the foundry and foundry equippers’ stands. Also very well attended on all three days were the specialist congress, the International German Die Casting Congress, the “Forschung, die Wissen schaf(f)t” (Research for Knowledge) special show and the Oberflächentechnik (Surface Technology) Pavilion.
