This means that even before skilled workers enter the official application process, a digital "coffee talk" takes place in which employees and employers can get to know each other as equals.
In close cooperation, the trade fair and Robert Drblik, Managing Director of Work For Your World, publish the "100 Top Jobs" from the die casting industry on the digital map every month. "It's exciting that over 90 per cent of the incoming job advertisements are aimed at technicians and engineers," says Drblik. "And before interested parties apply for the jobs, they can easily find out in the coffee talks whether the position and the company offer what is important to them personally."
STUDENT DAY: A day dedicated to the future
The STUDENT DAY will take place for the first time at EUROGUSS in January 2024 and is aimed at students of technical disciplines. With a specially tailored programme of lectures, an exhibition rally and live demonstrations of high-tech machines, students will be introduced to the world of die casting. Sponsored by Oskar Frech GmbH + Co KG, this day provides an exclusive insight into the multifaceted die casting industry for young talents.
"Technology expertise is our capital, which we want and need to pass on to the next generation - with an exciting keynote speech, guided tour, Talent Award, trade fair rally and dialogue with managers - all at STUDENT DAY 2024 with FRECH as the official knowledge partner of EUROGUSS", says Alexander Marks, Managing Director of Oskar Frech.
Showing recognition, motivating young talent
The EUROGUSS Talent Award honours bachelor's and master's theses that focus on innovations and new applications in die casting. An international jury from industry and research has already evaluated the submitted work in an online pitch and invited the best graduates to Nuremberg. The award winners present their research results to an expert audience on site. This provides impulses for the technological development of the industry, motivates young talents and brings young professionals into direct contact with industry experts.
"We quite literally give the future a stage," says Christopher Boss, Executive Director of EUROGUSS. "By combining networking, education and recognition, the trade fair creates added value that goes far beyond the mere exhibition space."
