EUROGUSS 2026 supporting programme offers trends, technologies, and networking
On what will be its 30th anniversary, the trade fair not only boasts more than 600 exhibitors but also delivers a high-calibre supporting programme that addresses current trends, showcases innovations, and actively facilitates dialogue across industry boundaries and generations.

From 13 to 15 January 2026, Nuremberg will once again become the hub for the international die casting industry. EUROGUSS brings together key players from the entire global die casting value chain to explore current developments in technology, business and politics and collaborate on solutions to pressing issues. On what will be its 30th anniversary, the trade fair not only boasts more than 600 exhibitors but also delivers a high-calibre supporting programme that addresses current trends, showcases innovations, and actively facilitates dialogue across industry boundaries and generations. The ticket shop for visitors is already open.
The die casting industry is gearing up: In six exhibition halls for the first time, EUROGUSS in January will welcome more than 600 German and international exhibitors from the die casting supply chain. In 2026, EUROGUSS will once again underline its international appeal, with around 70 percent of exhibitors hailing from 33 different countries, predominantly in Europe. Numerous exhibitors will travel from Italy, Turkey, Spain and Austria to Nuremberg to showcase what die casting has to offer across the entire supply chain. EUROGUSS 2026 will also mark the event’s 30th anniversary as a globally established gathering for the industry and a source of inspiration for the die casting sector. It reflects the industry’s capabilities, even in challenging economic circumstances.
Key topics 2026 – shaping the future
As the leading fair for the die casting sector, EUROGUSS covers all major trends and topics. In 2026, four key thematic areas dominate the exhibition and its supporting programme:
- Sustainability in die casting and the circular economy: spotlight on resource-saving processes and recycling
- Mega/giga casting: New processes are revolutionising automotive production and present opportunities for the die casting industry
- Digitalisation and AI: Smart foundries, artificial intelligence, and automation improve efficiency and quality in die casting production
- Innovation and the development of skilled personnel: technological progress and support for young talent as a response to the shortage of skilled workers
The supporting programme – a platform for innovations, dialogue and the next generation of industry professionals
Visitors are unanimous that a visit to EUROGUSS is a must. Alongside the exhibition as such, the secret of the event’s success is its high-calibre, precisely tailored supporting programme.
The long-established German Die Casting Conference, which goes into its 25th round in 2026, offers knowledge transfer at the highest level. The conference is organised by the VDD (Association of German Die Casting Foundries) and the BDG (German Foundry Association) and offers valuable insights into new materials, processes and areas of application. Lectures and discussions show how the sector is evolving technologically and responding to global challenges.
The European Die Casting Competition takes place once again alongside the conference and provides an impressive showcase of how diverse, innovative and effective the die casting process is today. In 2026, outstanding components made from aluminium, magnesium and zinc will once again be acknowledged – for the first time in new, application-driven categories and in cooperation with the German zinc industry network (Initiative ZINK) and the VDD. The awards ceremony will take place at EUROGUSS on the first day of the exhibition.
In the Speakers’ Corner at the heart of the trade fair action, visitors gain inspiration from research and practice at first hand in short presentations based on real-world experience. The spotlight is on the key topics for EUROGUSS 2026, but it also covers other thematic streams. The open stage encourages dialogue and offers scope for new perspectives and inspiration through concrete application examples. The detailed programme is continuously updated on the website.
Trade visitors can experience technology at close quarters in the special shows and special display areas: The Rheocasting Pavilion is dedicated to the innovative casting process using semi-solid metals, which enables the production of components with higher strength and better surface quality. In the Special Show “Research for Knowledge”, research and future trends are made tangible. Universities and research institutes present their latest developments – from innovative materials to smart manufacturing processes and technologies for the foundries of the future. Start-ups and young companies also present fresh ideas, innovative technologies and visionary concepts at the Young Innovators Pavilion. In 2026, the event once again hosts national pavilions for Italy, Spain, and the Czech Republic, which provide an overview of developments in the respective die casting industries.
The EUROGUSS Young Talent Day and EUROGUSS Talent Award have the next generation in their sights. The Young Talent Day brings students, young professionals and companies together. Presentations, discussion panels and hands-on activities are designed to show how exciting and innovative die casting really is, while facilitating valuable industry contacts. The EUROGUSS Talent Award recognises technically compelling dissertations or final degree papers that offer concrete added value, e.g., in areas like sustainability, AI, or materials engineering. The best submissions will be invited to the trade fair for the chance to receive an award. The sponsors of the EUROGUSS Young Talent Day and Talent Award are Bühler and FRECH.
New: Women4DieCasting
With “Women4DieCasting – Building Networks – Shaping Innovation”, EUROGUSS is launching a 90-minute networking and presentation format that specifically connects female specialists and managers from the die casting sector with one another. The highlight will be an inspiring keynote by Martin Speer – author, activist and consultant in the field of generational and gender equality. As a HeForShe catalyst from UN WOMEN Germany, he champions an intergenerationally fair society in Europe. The panel discussion will explore success stories that highlight the career paths, challenges and opportunities in the die casting industry – with the aim of getting more women into the sector, supporting existing talent and clearing the way for it. Male managers and HR professionals are explicitly invited to get involved in positioning the die casting industry as an attractive employer for women.
