Product information
The MAGIT mould modules are ready-to-install hydraulic functional units for piercing the hardened surface layer, injecting the process gas and blocking and opening the sidecavity in die casting moulds for aluminium, magnesium and zinc.
The injector and gate valve slider are controlled by hydraulic proportional control valves mounted directly on the mould or the valve plate of the injector module, and the position of the injector needle and gate valve slider are monitored by a position measuring system and transmitted to the process control of the MAGIT PM500 control module via the MMI interface.
