The ROCKLINIZING techniqueprotects wear areas of dies with tungsten carbide /Titanium carbide electrode material. It helpsto eliminate many problems in the die-casting process.The main application for the Rocklinizer is the coating with Tungsten Carbide and Titanium Carbide in order to avoid the problem of sticking; cold welding and erosion on the die-casting mold. The repair with steel electrode is an extra application for small repairs.Typical applications for the Die-Casting are: (restore parting lines, prevent heat checkingsoldering, seizing of cores, and protect gates and runners).
