The fully automated robot cell is designed for deburring large-volume workpieces. It is fed by the customer via a loading and unloading position. From then on, the workpiece is processed fully automatically.
The workpiece is placed on a CNC rotary table for processing within the production area. The rotary table axis is fully integrated into the robot controller. The workpiece is then machined with various rotating tools such as a grinding wheel or milling cutter. The tools are changed from the change magazine. Offline programming - e.g. via RobotStudio - is used to prepare the machining process. The workpiece is measured using a laser distance sensor and force/torque sensor. Fully automatic chip removal from the work area is integrated into the robot cell. Thanks to the additional measurement technology, this robot cell can be offered as a turn-key solution.
