B.B.T. was established in January 1990 from the intuition of its founder, Mr. Mario Basso, with more than thirty years of experience in the alloys die-casting area. In the last few years, thanks to a young, specialized and motivated team, together with an operating system 4.0, Company has completely renewed itself in technology of mold design and construction. BBT srl is now in its second generation. Together with the partner Daniele Milani, technical and production manager, who has been in the company since 1990, there are Mario’s daughters Michaela and Silvia Basso, commercial manager and financial manager.

OUR PRODUCT

Die casting molds for components in aluminum, zamak and magnesium. Main target sectors are: automotive, household appliances, pumps / hydraulics, automation, telecommunications and electronics. Our molds are used on presses from 500 to 2800 TON, and adapted according to the customer's technical specifications, even in the hydraulic and electrical parts. All technical information is also provided with the “Mold Book” or “Tool manual”.Trimming molds made for presses up to 20 TON., complete of all hydraulic and electrical systems and on request we are also able to provide cutting of the casting by means of a circular saw.DESIGNDesign service includes industrialization of the final piece and project of 3D mold. At the same time, we carry out casting simulations using specific software (PROCAST), which controls its real functionality. Following customer approval, we proceed to complete project and development of the 2D construction files for production.

PRODUTCTION DEPARTMENT

Production department is adequately equipped with high-speed machining centers, CNC controlled milling machines and EDMs on 5 axes capable of working 24 hours a day, thus reducing delivery times. It also has complementary machines including lathes, tangential grinding, internal and external cylindrical grinders, drills, mold testing and polishing department with ultrasonic equipment and benches for assembling, and tool testing.
