Conditions of participation – EUROGUSS 365 competition 

 

1. The recipient of the information provided by the participant is NürnbergMesse GmbH, Messezentrum, 90471 Nuremberg, Germany, as the organiser of the EUROGUSS. The information provided will be used solely for the competition. 
Participation in the competition is only possible under the conditions listed here. By participating, the participant expressly recognises these conditions of participation. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. 


2. The competition begins on 05.05.2025 at and ends on 14.05.2025 at 12:00 pm. 

3. One of two voucher codes for a free ticket for the event ‘Treffpunkt Werkzeugbau’ feat. Dominik Klein of the VDWF in Martinsried / Planegg worth € 69 each can be won in the raffle. The prize will be drawn during the period mentioned in point 2 and must be redeemed by the winner himself via the VDWF website. 

Each participant in the competition can enter once and only receive one prize. 

4. Anyone who is Subscriber to the EUROGUSS 365 newsletter during the prize draw period specified in point 2 and completes the competition form will automatically be entered into the competition. 
Participation in the competition is neither dependent on an order or the use of a service from the organiser nor on the release of the participant's data for marketing purposes. Every participant has the same chance of winning. 
Participation in the competition is free of charge. However, if competitions are offered online, the participant must have an internet connection in order to connect to the relevant website. The costs incurred for this shall be borne by the participant.
Any natural person aged 18 or over (worldwide) is entitled to take part in the competition. Employees of the organiser and their relatives, all service providers and partners of the organiser and all other persons involved in the design and implementation of the competition are excluded. Participation via competition organisations and automated services is excluded. By participating, the participant confirms that they fulfil the requirements for eligibility to participate and agrees to these conditions of participation. 


5. At the end of the implementation period, a random draw of the winners will take place in camera. Participation in the prize draw requires full participation in accordance with No. 4 of the conditions of participation for this competition. 


6. The winners will be informed on 14.05 2025 via a direct message via E-Mail. The winner will receive a voucher code, which they can then redeem themselves via the VDWF website.  


7. If personal data is collected from participants as part of the competition, it will be collected, processed and used by the organiser exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition and deleted after the end of the competition. The participant is responsible for the correctness and completeness of the data submitted. 


8. The personal data of the participants will be used and collected by the organiser in compliance with data protection regulations. 
Consent can be revoked at any time by deleting the corresponding entry. In this case, the participant also declares that they will no longer take part in the competition. 


9. Cash payment of prizes is not possible. Claims to prizes cannot be transferred or assigned to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded. Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision. The organiser reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.

1. Processing of your personal data in the context of the competition 


We process your personal data for the proper execution and handling of the competition and in particular for sending the prize. 
The profile name and, if available, the first and last name of the respective participant will be collected and stored in order to carry out the competition. 
Your data will not be passed on to third parties beyond this. 
The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 letter b EU-GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of a contract). 
If we publish the first name and surname of the winner(s) separately on our profile or our fan page or announce them externally, for example in our online store, this will only be done with the prior express consent of the winner(s) in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a EU-GDPR. 


2. Storage duration 


After the end of the competition, your personal data processed as part of the competition will be deleted no later than three months after the end of the competition, unless you have given your effective consent for further processing and/or we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
