Automotive Packaging Pavilion: New Platform for Packaging Solutions at EUROGUSS 2026

Packaging meets die casting – unlocking new opportunities for quality, efficiency and sustainability.

At EUROGUSS 2026, a new highlight takes center stage: the Automotive Packaging Pavilion. From 13 to 15 January 2026 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, it will showcase how tailored packaging is essential for the safe and clean transport of cast parts – and how it impacts the entire supply chain.

Why does this matter?

In the automotive industry, packaging is no longer just about protection and transport. It increasingly influences costs, sustainability and process quality. For the first time, the pavilion brings together specialized providers offering solutions for component protection, logistics, container systems, circularity and digitalization. This creates a vital interface between die casting, component manufacturing and modern packaging technology.

Challenges and Opportunities

Cast parts are often heavy, large and complex – with sensitive surfaces and sharp edges. Simple stacking concepts are not enough. Robust, ergonomic and reusable systems are in demand.
As Erich Lattner, Managing Director of Lattner Transportsysteme, emphasizes:“Only if we know these details can we further develop packaging and transport systems in a truly targeted way.”
Sven Doll from Söhner Kunststofftechnik also sees great potential: “When the packaging and foundry sectors work more closely together, we improve quality, cleanliness and process reliability along the entire supply chain – creating real added value for everyone involved.”

Who’s on board?

Alongside Lattner and Söhner, companies such as Sprick, Ströbel and SaVer will present their innovative concepts. Visitors can look forward to solutions that address real challenges – from development to circularity.
