With significant increases in exhibition space, exhibitor numbers and visitor attendance, EUROGUSS MEXICO 2025 has firmly reinforced its status as the leading platform for non-ferrous die casting in Latin America. More than 100 exhibitors – a rise of 9 per cent compared with 2023 – showcased their innovations in aluminium, magnesium and zinc die casting at Expo Guadalajara from 15 to 17 October 2025.
The occupied net space expanded by an impressive 42 per cent to around 1,700 square metres, within a total area of 3,000 square metres. Visitor interest also developed very positively, securing the position of the third edition of the trade fair as an established industry meeting point in Mexico. With its continuous growth, EUROGUSS MEXICO is reinforcing its place in the global trade fair calendar. It stands for the successful bridging of international expertise and regional momentum – and proves that the future of die casting must be approached with a global mindset.
‘We are absolutely delighted with these results. They clearly demonstrate that EUROGUSS has come to Mexico to stay,” says Christopher Boss, Executive Director of EUROGUSS. “The growth in exhibitor numbers and floor space reflects the confidence of the global die-casting community in Mexico as both a sales market and production hub – and it confirms our strategy of further strengthening the international connectivity of the EUROGUSS Family.’
Growth with strategic depth
The trade fair once again benefited from its clear thematic focus on non-ferrous die casting, especially for the automotive supply industry. Mexico is now one of the most dynamic automotive markets in the world: in 2024, car production reached almost four million vehicles, 88 per cent of which were for export. Demand for lightweight components and aluminium die casting, which accounts for around 80 per cent of vehicle die casting, is correspondingly high.
‘Mexico has long been a global hub for die casting and lightweight construction,’ explains Margot Schwelgin, Project Manager of EUROGUSS MEXICO at NürnbergMesse. ‘This is where international manufacturers, suppliers and research institutes meet a highly motivated local industry – creating synergies that extend far beyond the trade fair.’
Partnership with the Global Foundry Show
For the first time, EUROGUSS MEXICO was held in parallel with the Global Foundry Show organised by the Mexican industry association Clúster de la Fundición. This cooperation proved to be a complete success: while EUROGUSS MEXICO focused on aluminium, magnesium and zinc die casting, the parallel event covered the iron and steel casting sector. Together, the two formats formed a unique centre of excellence for the entire foundry industry in Latin America. The events were extremely well received, attracting around 4,000 trade visitors over the three days of the fair.
The joint supporting programme combined technical presentations, expert panels and a German-Mexican cooperation forum. Key topics such as sustainability, digitalisation and energy efficiency met with great interest, as did practical examples of the integration of modern casting technologies into automotive and supplier production.
International exhibitors – local relevance
The more than 100 exhibitors included numerous companies from Europe, North America, China and Mexico. The fully booked German Pavilion underscored the importance of European expertise for the Latin American market. At the same time, local suppliers presented their innovative strength and their role as partners in global supply chains.
The trade visitors came mainly from Mexico, the USA, Colombia, Brazil and other Latin American countries. Decision-makers from die-casting foundries, the automotive industry and the machine, mould and tool manufacturing sectors took the opportunity to find out about new technologies, materials and manufacturing processes.
By organising EUROGUSS MEXICO, NürnbergMesse continues to pursue its internationalisation strategy consistently. The fair in Guadalajara is a key pillar of the EUROGUSS Family – the international event portfolio covering the most important die-casting markets worldwide. EUROGUSS, the leading trade fair for die casting, will take place in Nuremberg from 13 to 15 January 2026.
Looking ahead: EUROGUSS MEXICO 2027
Pre-booking for EUROGUSS MEXICO 2027 runs until 31 December 2025. The positive feedback from exhibitors, the increase in floor space and the international response show that the concept is convincing. That is why EUROGUSS MEXICO and Global Foundry Show 2027 will once again be held in parallel – from 16 to 18 November at Expo Guadalajara.
