Since 2020, Raffmetal has offered SILVAL, an innovative range of primary aluminium from recycling in continuous casting ingots with performance comparable to primary aluminium alloys produced from bauxite.

Compared to production from bauxite, the use of recycled aluminium reduces the energy consumption and carbon footprint of our customers' castings.

Every single batch of material undergoes rigorous testing in the company laboratory, where modern quality control instruments are used. Certain substances are tested down to one part per million to ensure that the alloy is suitable for the various uses.
