For joining castings to body in white, GAMING ENGINEERING has developed the ERWin®, a simple multi-material joining solution, to integrate light weight parts on steel or aluminium structures, keeping the standard spot-welding equipment of the car makers.

This ERWin® insert is first punched into the lightweight part without pre-hole, then the lightweight part can be welded to steel or aluminium.
