Following the great success of the competitions in 2022 and 2024, the German Die Casting Association (VDD) and the EUROGUSS trade fair are holding the European Die Casting Competition for the third time. The competition is also supported by the German Foundry Association (BDG), Aluminium Deutschland e. V. (AD), and the European Research Association for Magnesium (EFM). This competition showcases to the public and customers the versatility, innovative strength, high quality, and performance of the die casting process in aluminum, magnesium, and zinc. Entries for each material will be evaluated individually based on innovation, quality, cost-effectiveness, resource-efficient design, and complexity.
