Marco Gadola elected to the Board of Directors of Bühler Group

Marco Gadola was unanimously elected to the Board of Directors of the Bühler Group at the Annual General Meeting on 10 February 2023. At the same meeting, Konrad Hummler stepped down from the Board of Directors after more than twelve years of service.

Marco Gadola Marco Gadola was unanimously elected as a new member of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting of Bühler Group in February 2023.
Marco Gadola studied business administration and economics at the University of Basel and worked, among others, in leading positions at the Hilti Group as well as CFO at the Hero Group, Straumann Group and Panalpina Group. From 2013 to 2019, he was CEO of the Straumann Group, a listed Swiss company with a turnover of over two billion Swiss francs. 

At the Annual General Meeting on 10 February 2023, the Swiss and French national has now been unanimously elected to the Board of Bühler Group. "With this appointment, the Bühler Board of Directors gains an accomplished and proven leader with nearly three decades of experience in various industries in the fields of tools, medicine and logistics," says Calvin Grieder, Chairman of the Bühler Board of Directors. 

In addition to his role on the board of Bühler Group, Gadola serves as Chairman of DKSH as well as WS Audiology and Medartis Holding AG. Gadola is also Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of MCH Group AG and a member of the Board of Directors of the Straumann Group.
Konrad Hummler Konrad Hummler stepped down in February 2023 after twelve years in the Bühler Group's Board of Directors, having reached the statutory limit.
At the same meeting, Konrad Hummler resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of Bühler and the respective committees on which he served, having reached the statutory limit. Hummler had been a member of the Board of Directors since 2010.
