About us

Stirweld has developed a technology allowing the use of friction stir welding (FSW) on all types of CNC machine. We support you in the optimisation of your machine park and the integration of a new know-how to offer to your customers. Our FSW head for CNC offers identical performances as a special FSW machine (effort control, quality recording...).Its other advantages:

  • Low investment cost compared to special machines or FSW robotic stations.
  • Adaptability: despite the absence of standard machining centres, the FSW head of Stirweld can be adapted to all CNC machines.
  • Easy to use and to install: after the first installation, the user can mount and dismount the FSW head in a few minutes, easily switching from machining to welding and vice versa.
