Kind & Co. has been synonymous with premium tool steel since 1888, produced in Bielstein. Together with Schmiedewerke Gröditz, we combine our strengths within the GMH Group to cover the entire value chain – from the ingot and open-die forging to customized tool steel solutions.

Our expertise spans die casting, extrusion, and drop forging, complemented by decades of experience in open-die forging technology. Our tool steel is produced from 100% sorted scrap, melted in a purely inductive process. This allows us to minimize alloying additions, achieve an almost 100% recycling rate, and manufacture in a sustainable, low-carbon way.
