The RoboCT system allows large-format and geometrically complex castings to be flexibly inspected using X-ray and computed tomography – even in hard-to-reach areas. Two or more robots move the X-ray tube and detector around the object, enabling complete penetration and a high degree of flexibility. The AI-supported algorithms of the ISAR system perform fully automatic defect detection (ADR) of X-ray image data in 2D and 3D. This approach eliminates the need for time-consuming parameterization by X-ray experts.
