To ensure a smooth transition, both are working closely together. The official handover ceremony will take place on November 11 at the House of the Foundry Industry in Düsseldorf.
“I am delighted by the warm welcome I have received from the BDG and the new team,” says Dr. Martin Theuringer. “Now it's time to get to know the industry and our member companies even better – and then tackle the major challenges, especially those relating to economic policy, together.”
With Dr. Theuringer, the BDG gains an experienced and well-connected leader who will continue and further develop the association's work in challenging times.
The BDG looks forward to working together and taking joint steps to strengthen the foundry industry in Germany in the long term.
