Zinc Die Casting Competition
“And the winner is …!” When you hear these words the waiting is over. On 15 January 2018, the winners of the Zinc Die Casting Competition will be announced during the opening ceremony at EUROGUSS. This competition has been organised for the 7th time by the German zinc industry network Initiative Zink, with the support of the Association of German Die-Casting Foundries (VDD). The competition is designed to showcase the potential of zinc and its wide-ranging applications, the outstanding features of zinc die-cast products and the capabilities of the participating foundries. When examining the zinc die-cast submissions, the jury is looking in particular at the following criteria: construction, design, mould making, casting technique, machining, surface treatment and decorative properties.
