Competence Center of Industrial Energy Efficiency (KIEff)
In the course of the energy transition, there is a great need for action in the manufacturing industry with regard to reducing energy consumption. The energetic efficiency of production processes and plants is getting mor and more important.
The aim of the Competence Center of Industrial Energy Efficiency (KIEff) is to support companies in finding potentials to increase energy efficiency in production and to develop and implement optimization proposals. The focus here is on industrial energy efficiency through regenerative processes, intelligent process management and innovative waste heat recovery.
In addition, the competences of Ansbach University of Applied Sciences in the field of industrial energy efficiency will be bundled in order to permanently strengthen applied research and development.
