The Q8 MAGELLAN is a high-end spark emission spectrometer for metal analysis. It features a vacuum optics with 750 mm focal lengths, ultrafast PMT detectors, a digital plasma source, a heavy-duty spark stand optimized for high sample throughput and extremely low maintenance. Its unlimited single spark detection and time resolution provide lower detection limits, improved precision and algorithms like soluble/insoluble determination or inclusion analysis. Available as single or multi-matrix system suitable for routine operation in both laboratory and production environments, the Q8 MAGELLAN enables a broad field of applications covering the entire range of metal producing and processing enterprises, but also materials testing and research institutes.

The variant Q8 MAGELLAN online, is equipped with automatic electrode cleaning and full remote control and monitoring capabilities by the AXSCOM interface. This makes the Q8 MAGELLAN online an ideal choice for integration into fully automated environments.
