Mechatronics & Automation Cluster

The Mechatronics & Automation Cluster is Bavaria’s network for sharing technical and organisational expertise in mechatronics and automation. It serves as a platform for cooperation, networking and training for specialists across industry and organisational boundaries, combining businesses, research institutes and public bodies.

The cluster focuses on the development of pioneering automation methods and the transfer of mechatronic technology models. We help our members find suitable collaboration partners in Germany and beyond, whether they need help with research and development or agile reaction to demand peaks. In cross-border projects, we showcase our members on the international stage and lay the foundations for new global cooperations.

Working in close contact with our members, we analyse the current and future challenges faced by industry and develop strategies for solving them. Alongside its headquarters in Augsburg, the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster maintains regional offices in Nuremberg and Regensburg, allowing us to stay close to our members.
