The quality management system inside Fonderia Gattelli has the task of monitoring all of the process parameters and the material from the acceptance up to delivery to the final customer. All this is done to achieve maximum reproducibility of the castings and to have an archive of information necessary to ensure traceability. All measuring instruments are periodically checked and certified in order to always obtain reliable values. Only with the acquisition of a controlling method and characterization of the parameters, it establishes the foundation for a better system and for fully exploit the know-how of the company.
Fonderia Gattelli has an internal laboratory which can perform the following analysis:
- Chemical Composition: : Spectrophotometer ARL
- Density Index: Vac Test
- Micrograph: Equipment for microstructural analysis
- Tensive Tests: Machine INSTRON 5500R 200KN
- Hardness Tests: : Durometer OMAG AFFRI, Durometer GALILEO
- Thermal Tests: EUROTHERM Datalogger
- Penetrant: Red dot dye pen and Green dot dye pen
- X-Rays: Digital Bosello Machine SRE M@X 225 KV
