Up to 100 degrees most conduits offer good cable protection. Metal conduits can withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees but have limited insulation properties. Hiprojacket and Hiprotape from Anamet Europe offer high temperature protection for cables and hoses, with an outer cover resistant to molten metal splashes and
to many oils and chemicals found in industrial environments. Hiprojacket in tubular sleeve form is used to
great effect in foundries, steelworks, glass and ceramics manufacture and in machinery for those industries.
Construction: Woven fibre glass, the method of production creates a hollow space between outside
and inside cover.
Cover specifications: Ironoxyde silicon rubber. Withstands melted metal and intense heat radiation.
Special approvals: NFF 16-101: class I2, F0, Oxygenindex LOI = 42,5 , flameretardant.
Temperature: +260ºC continous. Till +1090ºC for approx. 20 minutes. Till +1640°C for 15-30 seconds.
