The development of innovative ideas and their implementation represents a major challenge for the automobile industry and its suppliers. This is true for the further development of conventional vehicles, but even more so for the new, future-oriented system technologies, such as electric mobility. SCHERDEL is facing this challenge and actively working on the development of such products.
Therefore, SCHERDEL is developing parts and assemblies for hybrid and purely electric drives and mass-producing them. They can be found in electrical machines, power electronics and energy storage systems. Metal-plastic composites are also used, such as laser-welded products made from highly purified copper. In addition, SCHERDEL is carrying out core research in the field of welded joints for non-ferrous metals with renowned companies and research institutions.
The prerequisites for the development and manufacture of prototypes, small series and series were met in recent years at SCHERDEL and are constantly being expanded for future projects.
