Handle THERCAST® software and master your skills
We propose several courses for beginners and advanced users with our software THERCAST® in ingot casting, continuous casting and foundry processes.
‘Starting with THERCAST®: foundry processes’: this 2-day training allows you to simulate your foundry processes in a predictive way. The first day, you will learn how to configure and launch a project according to the given foundry technique. Analyzing results will be covered in order to study the full process, physical variations and defects. During the second day, advanced functions such as self-radiation and heat cycling will be presented.
‘THERCAST® NxT 2.0 New functionalities’: this new training is available since 2020 for users already familiar with the new THERCAST® NxT environment. At the end of this training, you will be able to fully use all of the functions of version NxT 2.0. First you’ll discover the new items in the graphic interface. Then, you will practice with different tutorials that correspond to your industry. After this training, you will know how to set up data for a case of directed solidification, carry out a filling with mobile injectors and take account of the radiation between parts. Finally for the modeling of “continuous casting”, you can use the new items for the creation tool of the casting machine, in particular in the case of a soft reduction.
Choose a training program that suits your needs
We propose open-course trainings: held at our premises in France, for 1 to 8 participants from various companies on set course dates. They facilitate exchanges and opening the way for sharing experience in learning and using the software.
All our trainings are also proposed for in-company courses: held at your own location for one or more members of your company, on a date of your convenience. You gain the ability to work on your own geometry and/or examples relating to what you make.
And finally you can ask a tailored-course to answer your needs for expertise in one or more specific areas. For instance a subject about metallurgy and grain structure or about continuous casting machine.

Some of our training courses lead to qualification and are easily recognizable with certification badges.
This certification will show your certified ability to use Transvalor software professionally, prove your theoretical and hands-on expertise in numerical simulation and put your qualification certificate to work by enriching your resume or your profile on professional social media.
To be certified, you will be invited to pass a 30-minute test at the end of your course. The proposed questions are related to the theoretical and real-life aspects covered during your training.
