HDO Druckguß- und Oberflächentechnik GmbH is European market leader for zinc, magnesium and aluminum die castings with decorative surfaces. In our headquarter located in Paderborn as well as our locations in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia, we currently engage approximately 1.100 employees. Among our customer are well-known premium manufacturers, Tier-1 suppliers, and OEMs of the international automotive, sanitary, and household appliance industry as well as of the industrial and building industry. Due to the mapping of all manufacturing processes under one roof, we are able to provide the customers’ needs from a single source - from the initial request to the refined series component.

We operate a total of more than 40 die casting machines which, in part, use the hot-chamber process and, in part, the cold-chamber process. Furthermore, the high-speed impeller technology allows for the manufacturing of minute parts such as key components for automotive locking systems. With clamping forces of 20 t to 660 t, our machines manufacture parts from 0.5 g to 6,000 g. Furthermore, our high automation level of manufacturing processes enables an economical production of high-volume series, whereas our manufacture allows the production of challenging small series. This shows that (almost) anything is possible.
