Licon mt is a recognized system supplier of production lines for mechanical series processing of complex components. Customers include well-known automobile manufacturers and their suppliers in Europe, America and Asia. In recent years, Licon mt has invested above average in product innovation, opening up new markets outside of the automotive industry. In addition to product development, the core competence is the manufacture of machine components, their system integration / automation and software development.
Machining centers and rotary transfer machines are essentially configured from the modules of the LiFLEX modular system. It forms the basis for flexible, yet precisely fitting machine designs for processing medium and large series. Various configuration options are the basis for single or multi-spindle machining centers for 4- or 5-axis machining.
Intelligent clamping device concepts allow direct loading or loading parallel to machining up to the fully automated chaining of individual centers in one clamping. The modular structure of the machine concepts offers the key benefit of implementing customer-specific requirements at an attractive price / performance ratio.
Single-spindle machining centers from Licon are used wherever conventional concepts cannot meet the requirements, twin-spindle machining centers where high demands are placed on performance. Twin-spindle machining centers are already equipped with i-technology as standard, i.e. independent correction of the spindles in Z, optional is the i3 technology with independent correction of the spindles in X, Y and Z.
Licon's i³ technology ensures greater production flexibility thanks to its independence in three axes. While the two spindles are often coupled in twin-spindle machining centers, there are already independent Z-axes with the basic configuration. In addition, the i³ technology creates complete decoupling and independence in all three linear axes.
As a further development, the single-spindle LiFLEX I 12126 can process structural components in even larger dimensions than before. The machine works with 4 or 5 axes, is particularly fast, dynamically stable and robust. It is primarily designed for machining large structural components made of light metal such as aluminum. The tool change time is 1 second. With rapid traverse speeds in the linear axes of up to 150 m / min, high acceleration and jerk values, the machine is currently one of the most dynamic of this work envelope on the market. Particularly short cycle times and therefore maximum productivity are the greatest advantages for the customer.
Machine tool data must offer the user real added value. Licon follows this maxim with LAVA (Licon Added Value Analysis). The basis for this is the use of smart components equipped with sensors in the LiFLEX machining centers. The goal here is the best possible automation of "knowledge management".
Essentially, this involves the digital preparation of a wide variety of information relating to condition analysis, predictive maintenance and optimization of the machining processes. Typical physical values such as force, temperature and vibration signals can be read out and evaluated individually.
History evaluation with error evaluation or analysis:
Increase output / reduce maintenance costs
Condition monitoring: motor spindles / vibration sensors / temperature sensors / ball screws / frequency analysis
Machining process vibration data analysis / avoidance of chatter vibrations / process trend analyzes
With its own branches in Michigan, USA, and Beijing, China, as well as at its headquarters in Laupheim, Licon provides services around the world. Licon customers receive comprehensive support over the entire life cycle of the machine in order to ensure high system availability.
