- KI-supported serial inspection
With the automated, non-destructive serial inspection, large numbers of components can be inspected in a short time. A database portal developed by Microvista stores the results and enables further statistical analyses.
- Defect analysis
Typical defects in components are pores, blowholes and inclusions. These can be detected by means of a CT examination, displayed in 3D and evaluated with state-of-the-art CT analysis software.
- Assembly inspection
Industrially or manually manufactured assemblies are inspected for assembly errors by means of CT as part of an assembly and joining inspection, without being dismantled or destroyed.
- Reverse engineering
Old castings without a complete set of drawings can be digitized and returned to CAD models.
- Detection of core breakage, core and processing residues
The CT examination allows the inspection of cavities, also with regard to existing sand or core residues in castings. The size (volume) and position of the residues can thus be determined precisely. Testing for core fracture with a percentage closure is also possible.
