RAUCH Magnesium melting and dosing euipment MSD has been developed to recycle class 1 return material directly at the diecasting machine. This concept offers a high level of safety, efficiency and reliability.
The so-called incell recycling is realized with a two furnace principle, where one furnace acts as a melting furnace which can melt either electrically or gas-fired up to 1200 kg/h.
The furnace is designed to melt both, ingots and runners, temperature stable and to provide an easy cleaning of the melt.
The feeding of the runners and ingots is done via an EcoJet duct system to achieve a quick melting with a low segregation of the alloying elements.
In connection with an ingot prewarming and feeding unit, it is ensured that the input material is dried and preheated.
The second furnace is an electrically heated dosing furnace with a constant temperature control and a constant melt level.
The melt transfer is done via a syphon or pump-system, which has been optimized in terms of maintenance friendly operation and cleaning to ensure a smooth supply of the melt.
The dosing system has been designed to create a maximum in terms of dosing tolerance accuracy, maintenance and up-time.
