PILLER high-pressure deburring machines for industrial parts (Catalog 1/2)
The procedure
Operating with a pressure of up to 1100 bar or more, our machines deburr workpieces in places where other systems reach their limits in terms of technical capability and cost-effectiveness. Water or cutting oil are used as processing mediums. The high-pressure water jet is aimed directly at the area of the workpiece requiring treatment. This allows us to target even intersecting surfaces and boreholes that are otherwise difficult to access. The high kinetic energy of the water jet not only flushes away burrs on the machined edges quickly and efficiently, but also removes chips and other impurities adhering to the workpiece. PILLER has over 20 years’ experience in producing cutting-edge high-pressure cleaning systems which use water, cutting oil or cooling lubricant in combination with its own patented high-pressure water blasting technology. We offer flexible machinery concepts to deal with any level of contamination and the most intricate of workpieces. Whatever the manufacturing scenario – small or large-scale components, manual or automatic loading, medium to high production volumes, mass serial production, or high-speed loading in parallel with processing – PILLER always offers you the best possible solution in terms of operating costs and process optimisation and adapts it to the space available.
VectorJet II
Vertical processing centre featuring rotary plate (B-axis) for workpiece, incl. clamping device, application-specific nozzle configuration, and automatic side-loading mechanism (where applicable). Straightforward clamp changing, excellent accessibility, optimum sound insulation.
->The advantages at a glance
- Optimum flexibility for small and medium production runs
- Six-sided processing possible
- Compact design requiring minimal space
- Short cycle times thanks to customised quick-change systems and manual workpiece loading
- Flexible processing with the help of a pallet system for automated workpiece infeed and various different workpieces
VectorJet III
Large horizontal processing centre with high-speed swivel table and bulkhead. The swivel table is fitted with two rotary plates (B-axes), separated by means of a dividing wall, thus creating separate loading and processing chambers. Processing can be performed along up to three horizontal axes using a variety of nozzle configurations. Suitable for medium serial production involving multiple clamping, as well as for very large or heavy parts, with the additional option of overhead loading via crane or gantry.
->The advantages at a glance
- Parallel loading and processing
- Six-sided processing of workpieces weighing up to 250 kg
- Multiple clamping
- Large processing chamber
- Suitable for large, heavy components
- Simple automation via gantry, robot or other handling systems
VectorJet IV Line
NC water jet centre based on a dual-chamber system for the alternating processing of camshafts. In this particular case, processing is carried out using cutting oil, but the machine can easily be adapted for use with water. The machine can be loaded manually and is suitable for fully automated, interlinked processes. The VectorJet IV consists of a high-pressure pump unit and processing centre housed within a single structure requiring minimal space.
->The advantages at a glance
- Highly flexible NC jet centre with swivel table and two rotary plates
- Very short set-up times, minimal space requirements
- HP pump unit and processing centre housed within a single structure
- Rapid set-up times; transferable to another plant within only a few days
