Its low space requirement, full enclosure and robust construction enable integration into the manufacturing process, even under extreme conditions in series production. Variable loading concepts enable high flexibility with the integration of the HeiDetect Flex Robot. Due to the adjustable gripper, safe component handling is possible at any time, also in case of complicated geometries.

The HeiDetect Flex Robot is a fully automatic 2D X-ray test system, which - due to the integration of the image evaluation software ISAR and the detector XEye, developed by the Fraunhofer Development Centre X-ray Technology (EZRT) - enables almost pseudo error-free evaluation with stable image quality. Because of the high-performance image processing, casting defects such as cavities, pores, nests and foreign objects can be detected and classified. Defectscan be recognised from a range of 3% of the radiated wall thickness. Large-scale oxides can be detected from a size of 1% of the wall thickness. The evaluation software ISAR provides an ergonomic user interface, by means of which customer-specific test parameters can be set. Key data can be transmitted to an existing enterprise data or PPS system. Specially prepared test results are transmitted to production in real time, enabling trend observation and product quality improvement with the objective of minimising the reject rate. You will produce considerably more efficiently and be able to rely a hundred per cent on your quality. The technical design will be made depending on the relevant country-specific requirements and standards (CE/UL/...).

Fast – flexible – efficient

With up to 450kV acceleration voltage and a possible inline testing time of less than 60 seconds, the HeiDetect FX InlineCT is probably the fastest inline CT system for testing large volume components.

The HeiDetect FX InlineCT is a fully automatic inline CT test system for workpieces with different sizes and weights, for example cylinder heads, crankcases, gearboxes and structural components. The system consists of a compact X-ray cabin with a linear shuttle for workpieces, a lift/rotating unit for the CT scan as well as a detector and an X-ray tube, which can be adjusted to the testing task. With our image capturing software HeiControl and a variable analysis software for 3D testing, an analysis of the data is possible by the customer itself. New workpiece data can be entered and workpiece changes can be edited on site by the customer.

Latest X-ray technology for maximum reliability

HeiDetect Wheel Robot is a fully automatic wheel test facility and, through the integration of the ISAR image evaluation software and the XEye detector developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits, allows almost pseudo error-free evaluation with stable image quality. The efficient processing of images allows casting errors such as shrink holes, pores, cavities and foreign matter in the range of 3% of the radiographed wall thickness to be detected and classified. Large areas of oxide can be detected from a size of 1% of the wall thickness. Further benefits are offered by the automatic wheel detection and by incorporating barcodes. This enables the alignment of the wheels to be specified and monitor the test results. The HeiDetect Wheel Robot wheel test facility from HEITEC meets the latest requirements for the group of wheels and handles wheel sizes from 13”-24”. The ISAR evaluation software offers an ergonomic Windows-based graphic user interface via which the test parameters can be set specifically for customers. Key data can be transmitted via an existing operating data acquisition system. Specially prepared test results are transmitted to production in real-time, thereby enabling trend analysis and continuous product quality optimization, aiming to minimize scrapping.
