Finished and finished parts made of copper alloys, refractory metals and titanium
Wieland Duro stands for know-how in special copper materials and refractory metals. The precipitation-hardening copper alloys are very hard and also exhibit high electrical conductivity.
They are particularly suitable for applications requiring the transmission of high electric current and being subjected to high mechanical stress.
The materials have gained a leading position worldwide under Wieland Duro’s registered trademark ELMEDUR .
Products made of refractory metals (molybdenum, TZM, tungsten, tungsten heavy metal, tungsten-copper, tantalum) as well as titanium complement the product range. Refractory metals are characterised by high melting points above 2,600 °C and densities over 10 g/cm3.
They are mostly used for components which are subjected to high ambient temperatures. As a corrosion-resistant light metal with high strength titanium has established itself for a wide range of applications. Wieland Duro offers additional special materials on request.
As a result of Wieland Duro global contacts the delivery programme had to be constantly adjusted in terms of product quality, shape, dimension and quantity. Wieland Duro has, therefore, developed into a global trading company carrying their own stock.
A comprehensive product range along with state-of-the-art machinery and test equipment are the basis for short delivery times and high-quality products.
