Fireprotection sleevings, red, up to +700°C temperature resistant.

Up to +400°C short term resistant. Protects hydraulic lines, cables, hoses and pneumatic lines against flying sparks and liquid metal splashes. With silicone cover, hardly inflammable and self-extinguishing, about 350°C resistant. Good abrasive qualities, very flexible, good resistance against oil and chemicals. Made of calcium-silicate-yarns < 6μm woven or braided, which are temperature resistant up to  > +700°C. Non-flammable, no afterglow.

Made of calcium-silicate with red silicone coating. Cut edges. For subsequent wrapping.

HTT Fireproof EXTRA

The firesleeve FIREPROOF Extra is made of high temperature resistant glass fibres (E-glass)

with a thick-walled coating made of a special silicone.

Construction:

Inner sleeve:

Tightly braided inner sleeve made glass-fibres, non-flammable, safe for health
Continuous temperature resistance: up to +500°C

Silicon cover:

Continuous temperature resistance up to +260°C, short term up to +500°C

Good resistance to oil and chemicals (resistance list on request)

Wall thickness of approx. 2.5 mm-5 mm

Product description:

The firesleeve HTT Fireproof EXTRA is made of high temperature resistant glass fibres (E-glass)
with a thick-walled coating made of a special silicone.

The modified silicone coating of the HTT Fireproof Extra has been given special additives
to guarantee excellent fire protection and high thermal stability. It is ideal for thermal insulation
and mechanical protection of all kinds of lines (hydraulic lines, cooling water hoses, cables, etc.).

Partial overheating due to liquid metal splashes (up to +1600°C) and flame exposure (up to +1200°C)
is possible for a short time. There is no melting or dripping.

The softening point of the thick-walled inner sleeve made of textile glass fibres is approx. +840°C.

The main applications of the firesleeve HTT Fireproof Extra are in foundries, welding operation,

glass industry as well as in iron and steel production.
