The production of spare parts is carried out with specific high quality materials and using thermal treatments that have been specifically developed by Brondolin.
Work conditions (at temperatures between 620°C and 650°C) require particularly high resistance to both abrasion and heat.
For these applications, the goosenecks are realised using the most advanced casting technologies. All the other accessories - plungers, rings, nozzles, tips and rods - are realised by forged bars.
As with the zinc hot chamber, Brondolin’s electric nozzle (European patent N° 1354650) has made it possible to optimise the pressing process. Perfect temperature control also makes it possible to considerably improve the quality of pressed castings, thereby reducing the percentage of scraps.
