Machining of cast parts with complex contours
The robotic deburring station of the series RSP/1R is designed for deburring cast parts with complex contours. The robotic station works with a robot guided multi-spindle head which machines the fixed workpiece with rotating powered tools such as milling burrs, grinding pencils, grinding flap discs or brushes. In this way, several deburring processes can be executed one after another.
A force control sensor is integrated into the robot controlling the pressure and the speed during the deburring process.
A 3D measuring sensor calibrates complete workpieces or individual contour elements checking the position of the workpiece during processing
Special milling tools were developed to realize with aluminum these uniform and narrow trimmed edges reliably. In this way, even workpiece with complex geometries can be machined with a high level of process reliability.
Via a CNC axis (7th axis) integrated into the robotic cell the workpiece is positioned for further processing.
