Die Elektrowerkzeugbranche ist durch extreme Anforderungen an mechanische Festigkeit, geringes Gewicht, Präzision und Kosteneffektivität gekennzeichnet. Bei dem vorgestellten Gehäuse aus Magnesiumdruckguss handelt es sich um ein höchst integriertes Bauteil mit geringen Wandstärken bis zu 1,0 mm. Um die geforderten Festigkeitswerte erreichen zu können, wurden 4 Stahlbuchsen eingegossen. Die Oberfläche ist pulverbeschichtet und bedruckt. Das Gehäuse wird spanend bearbeitet und einbaufertig an den Kunden ausgeliefert.

Die Casting of Magnesium Alloys
C&C Bark has gained a lot of experience in the die casting of magnesium alloys since more than 40 years. The specialization in the material Magnesium, our motivated and experienced staff, most modern machines as well as our excellent suppliers an outstanding quality standard at high flexibility and short reaction times could be achieved.
In order to keep to the most modern standards in magnesium technologies C&C Bark (founding member of EFM "European Research Association for Cast Magnesium" in Aalen, Germany) is integrated in different research projects. In addition we have development partnerships with manufacturers of machines, tools and machining equipment.
The Heart of our company - The Foundry
We have been casting high-quality Magnesium alloys since 1961, and continue to specialize exclusively in this material. The origin of our castings - the foundry - is equipped with experienced and well trained staff as well as a most modern machine park such as hot and cold chamber die casting machines with 40 t to 1600 t locking force. These machines allow us to choose the most proper type of machine for die cast parts with weights between 1 g and 5000 g.
The preferred alloy is the standard alloy Mg-AZ91 in High Purity Quality, in special cases Mg-AM60 is used. All alloys are supplied by certified manufacturers from the Western World. As our company is development partner of renowned machine manufacturers in the field of magnesium die casting, innovations and optimisations are continuously used and tested at our machines long before they are introduced into the official market.

Transforming a raw die cast part into a precision component involves the deburring process, which we complete with the same passion and meticulous attention to detail as the design and casting phases.
Our deburring facilities use advanced technologies and machinery for trimming, vibratory finishing and shot-blasting, operated by highly trained staff firmly focused on providing customers with components of outstanding quality.
