Tadir-Gan is located near Afula, in Israel, and employs 200. The facility has 14 die casting machines, ranging from 1000 to 1800 tons, and 24 CNC machining centers. Tadir-Gan processes more than 5500 tons of aluminum per year.
The leading product is oil pans that are supplied to North America, Europe and Australia. Automated lines assemble a variety of components (oil filters, seals, shafts and bolts) while performing leak tests and functionality testing, as per our customers' requirements.
Ortal Diecasting is located at Kibbutz Neve-Or in Israel, and employs 170. Ortal specializes in high pressure die casting of magnesium and has 12 die casting machines ranging from 200 to 1400 Tons and 16 CNC machining centers. Ortal processes more than 2000 tons of magnesium per year. The leading product line is steering system components that are supplied to North America, Europe and China.
Alu-druckguss was acquired by Tadir-Gan in January 2013 as part of our strategy to enlarge the company’s global footprint. Two manufacturing facilities, in Brieselang, Germany and Nova-Sol, Poland, employ 360 in total. Alu-druckguss processes 5000 tons of aluminum per year. A total of 11 die casting machines are on site in Brieselang, ranging from 400 to 1200 tons. The two facilities house a total of 21 CNC machining centers as well. Among the leading parts supplied to Tier 1s and OEMs in Europe are cylinder head and gear covers.

Recent developments: Ortal recently completed the first successful production series with AE-44. Due to the growing tendency of the Automotive Industry to reduce vehicle weight and as a result, increase fuel efficiency (CAFÉ requirements), the TG Group identifies the growing opportunities to replace aluminum with magnesium alloys that withstand high temperatures. AE-44 contains magnesium, aluminum, cerium and lanthanum. Typically it is used in the Automotive Industry for structural components working at elevated temperatures (150 - 200⁰C). The material offers good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance as well. Potential weight savings can reach 30% when converting parts from aluminum to AE-44.
