FROM IDEA TO PROCESS
Our experts from Engineering and Application Technology work together with you to develop functional castings as an upstream process in the development of the die, and that taking all influencing factors of relevance to casting into account. To this purpose we have every relevant development software at our disposal, such as Catia, Siemens NX and Creo. The engineering process is validated through filling and solidification simulations.
Our promise of quality is assured by modern and precise processing centers, as well as by highly qualified employees, both in terms of mechanical processing and in the assembly of the tools. Our Die Casting Technology Center, with a completely automated casting cell and a locking force of 3,200 metric tons, offers the possibility to sample your tools, optimize the casting process prior to the start of series production and provide you with initial casting parts for subsequent processing or as a small series.

K1 HEAT BUSTER
The K1 Heat Buster from HECK + BECKER is a brand new, innovative and user-friendly system for tool temperature control with many advantages. The Heat Buster enables effi cient and precise temperature control in the areas of the tool in which conventional cooling is not technically practicable, for example in long cores with small diameters. The added value arising from this consists in the reduction of die wear, as well as in the optimization of casting part quality.
When developing the K1 Heat Buster, our focus was, besides its technical performance during the cooling process, also on the user-friendly installation, operation and use of the system. Convince yourself of the performance of the K1 Heat Buster live at our booth in hall 7!
K1 PROTOTYPING: HPDC PROTOTYPES IN 12 WEEKS
K1 prototyping revolutionizes component development! With our K1 competence platform we can already analyze and optimize the practicability of your components in the die casting process at a very early development stage. We enable the substitution of sand casting! Already 12 weeks subsequent to a preliminary “design freeze”, we provide you with die casting components with the properties of the following series components, so that you can already carry out initial trials at a very early stage with congruent components.
Our DIE CASTING TECHNOLOGY CENTER is not only the heart of K1 innovation + performance. Here is where continuously improved tools and engineering solutions are developed on the basis of the challenges facing our customers. The K1 equipment product family has originated from this. That includes both innovative tool tempering systems and die venting solutions.
EXTERNAL TRAINING in our HECK + BECKER ACADEMY
Together with strong partners, we offer you and your employees comprehensive training in the competence areas of mould production and casting technology. In the process we not only mediate theoretical content. You profit from an extensive practical orientation through our Die Casting Technology Center. We are also happy to offer our training in your company and to develop an individual program to this purpose together with you.
