Founded in 1989 in the city of Diadema, São Paulo, by Mr. Anuar Dequech, Corona started its operations producing a small line of silicon carbide products which included crucibles, stands, spouts and cement for minor repairs.
The company’s objectives always aimed at rendering optimum service to customers, with prompt delivery of its products, and focusing on quality.
Corona was the first company from its segment in Brazil to acquire ISO 9000 certificate (1996), a process that was essential for its search for quality.
Aligned with the commitment to its customers, the company could shortly start selling to the whole national territory. In 1991, Corona started exporting to South America and in 1994 it was the first 100% Brazilian company to participate in the International Foundry Tradeshow, Metals Engineering, in England/UK.
In 1997, Corona could consolidate its position within the international market by taking part at GIFA, in Germany, also as the only 100% Brazilian company exhibiting there. The company has kept its presence at all the editions of this important event since then, always trying to present innovations and new achievements.
Currently, Corona Cadinhos is a leader in the national market and internationally acknowledged for the quality of its products, offering a complete line of silicon carbide and clay graphite crucibles, furnaces and products for the treatment of non-ferrous metals.
Its major customers are foundries for non-ferrous metals, automotive industries and their suppliers.
